Ashraf


Birthday Pie for Ashraf 21st and his Birthday present






Chocolate Banoffee Pie
Serves:10, Time:15 mins + 1hr chilling

75g margarin, melted
250g digistive biscuits, finely crushed
200g dark chocolate
1 x 397 tin arnation Caramel
4 bananas
1 x 284 carton whipping cream, lihtly whipped
cocoa powder to decorate
1. Add melted margarine to crushed biscuits and blend well. Press mixture into the base and partway up sides of an 18cm (7in) loose-bottom cake tin.
2. Melt chocolate in microwave then mix in the carnation Caramel. Spread filling over pie base and chill for abour 1 hour, until firm.
3. Slice the bananas, fold half into whipped cream and spoon over filling. Decorate with remaining banana and dust liberally with cocoa

Family Christmas Lunch

The children, Zaffran, Ashraf and Siti came over yesterday for our family x'mas lunch. We have fun as you can see.All of them wearing their x'mas presents from us.




They showing their x'mas present from Uncle Zaman's family. Siti got wrist watch, Ashraf and Zaffran - shirts.

Christmas 2008




Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
This Year we invited Zaman Family to our x'mas lunch.
Menu : Roast Beef and Veal, roast potatos, carrots and pasnips, peas and sweet corn and gravy. For dessert Chocolate bonaffe pie and Custard flan

ALHAMBRA, GRANADA


Alhambra - 'the red' (due to the colour of the wall around the outside of the fortified city) construction began in 1238 by the founder of Nasid Court, Emir Ibn Alhamar



Generalife is the recreational estate of the royal family with its splendid gardens and pavilion







Palace of Charles V and the Courtyard - built by catolic king in 1527 during Renaissance era which remain unfinish till now - stark contrast to the beauty of Islamic monument

Entrance to Nasid Palaces - a group of royal apartments of remarkable refinement - an earthly paradise of a moving beauty which art and nature blend in vibrant equilibrium

Hall of the Ambassadors or the Throne Room

The Comares Palace, the focus of official life, with the pool of the Courtyard of the Myrtles which reflects the Comares Tower

This patch is the only original tile left from the Islamic era in Granada
