Westfield, White City & Windsor

Halim, Ashraf and I went to Westfield. Ashraf & I were Westfield virgins. The shopping centre was big and there were lots and lots of shops but I wasn't interested coz I was so hungry and looking for Jom Makan Resturant.

The services was slow, took about an hour for all or dishes to arrived. Halim order nasi ayam with roasted chicken, the dishes arrives after 20 minutes but very dissipointed as he found that the chicked breast not really roasted. After 10 minutes later Ashraf's mee goreng arrived than another 15 minutes after that my char kueh tiaw arrived, lo and behold there were mushroom peaking from my char kueh tiaw (first time ever I see mushroom in char kueh tiaw - I 'm allergic to mushroom). I end up changing the plate with Ashraf. We did order gado-gado but its never came. Our waiter was sweet boy, he tried to track down our gado-gado and end up being lock out from the kitchen. We asked for the bill and end up with free dessert for each of us for missing the gado-gado. Sorry I forget to take the food photos as I was so hungry.

Wake up late on saturday, Halim called asking either I wan't to go out shopping. Of course I said yes. We reached Windsor around 3.15pm and by 4 pm, it was already dark.

HARRODS SUMMER SALE 2009

At last the sale is here. We took Heathrow Express, free of charge courtesy of London Underground. Within 15 minutes we were at Paddington Station. Met up with Kak Nariman then off we continue our journey to Harrods at Knightbridge by bus.

Diana and Dodi memorial at Harrods basement

Lunch at McDonald Paddington Station - fresh flower in the vase!!!! Bit posh for McD

As today is the first day sale, people everywhere. We reached Harrods around 12pm. 1st place to go The Archade - within 30 minutes I spent £120, that only the beginning. One things good about shopping in Harrods, if you bought a lot of stuff with lot of bags, you can requested that you like to collect the goods later once you paid. We agreed to collect our purchase at 3 o'clock. Off we go to the next counters and the same thing I did and it free of charge. It was good doing shopping without you dragging your heavy bags everywhere. Guess how many shopping bags we had when we went to pickup? 7 bags plus 2 bags from my last purchased and its weight at least 20kg altogether. I took pity to my husband, I paid for black cab to Paddington Station, cost me £15. Took Heathrow Express back to Terminal 5 than bus 423 home. Usual 5 minutes walk home from bus stop take longer for my husband as he was struggling with the bags, its was heavy.

Some of the bags I bought as per requested by Hanida, Azian and my mom

Shopping bags and bags and bags

Handbags

Handbags. 2 of its belong to my sister-in-law

Bentalls, Kingston-upon-Thames AGAIN

I love Kingston, usually during weekend, if you reach the car park around 12noon, you can wait up to 1 hour for parking but suprised, suprised last saturday, we have no problem finding the parking. Huda and Faridah came along. The weather were warm and sunny. I bought lot of my baking stuffs (20% off that weekend). We got stuck, when we want to go home as accident happened - a man hit by a bus and then a car while crossing the road (main bridge - to go in and out of Kingston) therefore we had to go a long, long way to drive home.

Harrods Again

Well my friend, I went to Harrods again yesterday, last week I forget to look for Harrods umbrella for Yusila and my other sister Roza, want me to buy a big Harrods bag for her friend. My husband said OK, so after work (3pm) on friday we catch an underground from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Knightbridge. I bought few more bags and reduce Christmas cards in box and 2 rolls of ribbon. Unfortunately, the umbrella was so expensive £19.45 each, that to much money to pay so Yus, I have to say forget about it. As we arrived a bit late, lot of beautiful bags already been taken. If you were there, you just look envy at other people find and wish you were there much much earlier and you get the bags before them. There were this 3 ladies whom have about more than 60 bags stacking around them and busy do some calculating with their calculator. I can tell they are not local. If we allowed to take photo definitely I took one to show you guy. Well friend we just have to wait for Harrods next sale in summer.

There is only one sale - Harrods sale

Yesterday, My husband and I went to Harrods, Knightbridge. I was so happy, coz I got to go to Harrods sale. Well, I nearly missed the trip as the original plan was to visit a friend at Virgina Water, lucky me in the morning we received a text stated that he have to cancelled it as he has to work. Yahoo! On Saturday Harrods open from 9am to 9pm, so after work my husband drove me to Harrods, we arrived around 4pm. Shopping Time.

Perfumes and colognes. My husband bought incanto Salvatore Ferragamo for me early present for Valentines and I bought him Aspege Pour Homme from Lanvin. We have to wait for Valentines day to use it. Ferrari Cologne for my nephew Nizam as a gift for passing PMR exam with 8A.

The small black handbag is for Fazliah a gift for her for passing the PMR exam with 8A. Congratulation in order for both of my nephew and niece.

One product Harrods is famous with is their pvc bags and it also famous among my family and my friends. If Harrod sale, one of them will ask me to buy one or two of the bag for them. I usually buy more as there always buyer for its in JB.

The true reason I went to Harrods was to get my mum's birthday present, her Birthday is on 29 March. As I'm going holiday in March to Malaysia,I'll bring her the present. As card member we have 10% discount on weekend, it is good idea to buy product which not on sale. Harrods have a services counter to wrap present and it cost me £8.45 to get the service and the result was good and very presentable gift for my lovely mother.

So friend, whoever coming to London or living around London this week, good idea to visit Harrods to get some bargin. Sale end on 24/1/2008. Top tip, go on the last day, if you lucky you can buy the sale pvc bag for only £1 and lot of stuffs go down to 80% to 90% off. I been to last day sale few years ago, it was hectic and fun to find bargin of the year. Good Luck.
