Sunday 12/4/09 - forecast said it will be warm and sunny but it was overcast and damp - but as it already planned therefore we still have the BBQ. The children Zafran, Ashraf and Siti, Aimi(took time out from her exam study to joint us) and the gilford girls - Huda, Faridah and Nora were there. We have fun and eat our heart out.
Menu : BBQ lamb back chop & chicken, green salad, pasta salad, easter eggs chocolate, muruku, cheese cake and cup cake

2 teams competed to built a mini gezabo. Team 1 - Zafran & Siti and Team 2 Aimi & Siti

Huda & Faridah said they don't like lamb but we change that, they did enjoyed the BBQ lamb

BBQ lamb back chop
1 kg lamb back chop
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1. In a bowl, mix together all the sauces. Pour over the chop and mix throughly. Cover and marinate for 3 hours or overnight in the refigerator. Turn in marinade occasionally.
2. (if cook in the oven) - preheat oven 180c - remove the chop from marinade and place in a baking tray. Cook for 30-40 minutes, turning and brushing with marinade at 10 minutes interval.
